BELLARMINE

Boynun üzerinde veya altında sakallı bir maske bulunan küresel veya armut biçimli taştan bir sürahi. 16. yüzyıldan 19. yüzyıla kadar Katolik Rheinland'ı yaptı ve adını, maskenin benzemesi gereken, Adını karşı Reform'un sert bir destekçisi olan Kardinal Bellarmine'den (1542-1621) alıyor.

A globular or pear-shaped stone- ware jug with a bearded mask on or below the neck. Made 111 the Catholic Rhineland from the 1 6th to the 19th c, and named after Cardinal Bellarmine (1542-162 1), a stern supporter of the Counter-Reformation, whom the mask was supposed to resemble.
