1. ('Bileşim sıvası'nın kısaltması.) 18. yüzyılın sonlarında geliştirilen çeşitli sıva karışımları için kullanılan genel bir terim. Çoğu alçı ve ebat içeren sıva yerine İngiltere. Yanmazdı, çatlama eğilimi yoktu, daha çabuk sertleşiyordu ve bu nedenle hemen boyanabiliyordu. 2. Yine 18. yüzyılda geliştirilen ve genellikle mobilyaların modellenmesinde kullanılan mezgit, reçine ve apre karışımı. 3. Binalarda kullanılan çimento-kireç harcı.

1. (Abbreviation for 'composition plaster'.) A generic term for the various plaster mixtures developed in late i8th-c. England as a substitute for stucco, most of them containing gypsum and size. They were fireproof, did not have a tendency to crack, hardened more rapidly and could therefore be painted almost at once. 2. A mixture of whiting, resin and size, which was also developed in the 18th c, and was generally used for modelled ornament on furniture. 3. Cement-lime mortar used in building.
