CONCETTO (KAVRAM)

Belirli bir sanat eserine anlam veren temel fikri veya anlayışı belirten bir rönesans ve özellikle de maniyerist terim. Disegno'ya benzer, ancak anlamın bir bakıma şaşırtıcı veya paradoksal olduğunu ima eder.

Concetto (It. 'concept, conceit') A renais- sance, and more especially mannerist, term which designates the underlying idea or conception which gives a particular work of art is meaning. It is similar to disegno, but with the implication that the meaning is in some waysurprising or paradoxical.
