DAGUERROTYPE

İlk uygulanabilir fotoğraf işlemi, 1839'da kamuoyuna duyuruldu. Görüntü, iyot ve/veya brom buharıyla hassaslaştırılmış cilalı gümüş kaplamalı bakır plaka üzerindeki doğrudan pozitifti. Mucit, daha önce Nicephore Niepce tarafından yapılan deneylerden yararlanan Louis Jacques Maude Daguerre'ydi.

Daguerrotype, daguerreotype The first practicable photographic process, announcedto the public in 1839. The image was a direct positive on a polished silvered copper plate sensitized with iodine and /or bromine vapour. The inventor was Louis Jacques MaudeDaguerre, who made use of experiments madeearlier by Nicephore Niepce.
