KREMALI EŞYA (CREAMWARE)

Çakmaktaşı içeren sert krem rengi gövdeli, kurşun sırlı toprak kap. Josiah Wedgwood tarafından mükemmelleştirildi ve 1765 yılında Queen Charlotte'un onuruna 'Queen's Ware' adını verdiği bu çeşidi üretmeye başladı, ancak daha önce Staffordshire'da Enoch Booth tarafından üretilmişti. Porselenin dayanıklılığına ve inceliğine sahipti, ajur dekorasyona, transfer baskıya ve boyalı dekorasyona uygundu.

Lead-glazed earthenware with a tough cream-coloured body containing flint. It was perfected by Josiah Wedgwood, who in 1765 began to produce the variety of it he christened 'Queen's Ware' in honour of QueenCharlotte, but it had already been producedpreviously in Staffordshire by Enoch Booth. It had the durability and thinness of porcelain, was suited to openwork decoration, transfer printing and painted decoration.
