FONTAİNEBLEAU OKULU (FONTAINEBLEAU SCHOOL)

Fontainebleau Okulu Fontainebleau'daki Valois Mahkemesi için çalışan bir grup İtalyan, Fransız ve Flaman sanatçı, c. 1530 ila c. 1560, Floransa ve Kuzey İtalya tarzının bir türevidir ve hem eğlenceli hem de erotik unsurlar içerir. Art historians also distinguish, after the hiatus imposed by the Wars of Religion, a less inspired second Schoolof Fontainebleau, which decorated Frenchroyal residences under the patronage of HenriIV, during his reign (1589-1610). Rosso, Primaticcio and Niccolo dell' Abbate are leading figures in the first School of Fontainebleau; Ambroise Dubois and Toussaint Dubreuil are prominent in the second.
