DER STURM

Sturm, Der (Almanya 'Fırtına') 1910'da Berlin'de, 1912'de aynı adı taşıyan bir sanat galerisi de kuran Herwarth Walden tarafından kurulan bir dergi. Galeri, faaliyete geçtiği ilk yıl, üyelerinin resimlerini sergiledi. Münih'ten blaue reiter grubu, İtalyan fütüristler ve diğer birçok avangard sanatçı. Ancak asıl önemi, yeni nesil Alman dışavurumcuları için bir odak noktası ve vitrin sağlamaktı.

Sturm, Der (Ger. 'The Storm') A magazine founded in Berlin in 19 10 by Herwarth Walden, who also founded an art gallery of the same name in 19 12. In its first year of operation the gallery showed paintings by members of the blaue reiter group from Munich, the Italian futurists and many other avant-garde artists. Its main importance, however, was to provide a focus and showcase for the new generation of German expressionists.
