RESSAMCA (PAINTERLY)

Formu ana hatlarla değil, ışık ve gölgenin karışımıyla temsil eden, belirsiz renk parçaları olarak gösterilen. İsviçreli sanat tarihçisi Heinrich Wolfflin bu sözcüğü ilk kez 1915'te bu anlamda kullanmıştır.

Painterly (fr. Ger. malerisch) Representing form, not by means of outline, but by the mingling of light and shade, rendered as in- determinate patches of colour. The Swiss art historian Heinrich Wolfflin first used the wordin this sense in 19 15.
