Ushabti (Eski Mısır, 'cevap veren') Osiris'in olağan temsiline benzeyen (yani mumya biçiminde bir gövdeye sahip) ve genellikle ölen kişinin adının yazılı olduğu bir Mısır cenaze heykelciği. Ushabti (Ancient Egyptian, 'answerer') AnEgyptian funerary statuette shaped like the usual representation of Osiris (i.e. with a mummiform body) and generally inscribed with the name of the deceased. Such statuettes were buried in large numbers in importanttombs, to carry out any tasks the dead manmight be called on to perform. Synonym: shawabti.
